Encouragement for Mothers who are Single

Hello to all! Do you feel burnt out with all the weight of motherhood? Then this is for you.

I wanted to write this post especially those who are navigating life as a single mom. Maybe you don’t have a whole lot of support or just simply feel alone in your journey. The weight we carry is a lot, and you may not always have the help and support you need through it, but I just wanted to give encouragement that God sees you. Know that He is there through every tear you may be crying when trying to carry all the weight yourself. One thing I can tell you is to leave it to God when you can no longer hold it yourself. Let God take control of all the things that may be bringing you down or causing you stress. God has everything already planned out and has had it planned out before you were born.

God has a plan. Embed those words into your mind and know that what you may be going through right now is not forever. There is something greater for you. Trust and believe it. God is with you through your tears, your suffering, your struggle God is there.

This is just a chapter in your story, it is not the whole book. Sometimes we go through the hills and valleys of this life and with the struggles of life it can make us feel hopeless at times. We are human and we will struggle and go through all kinds of different things that we don’t expect, want or choose. These things all make us stronger and better equipped for the plan that God has even when we can’t see it yet, God has already planned it out for you. Follow Him, and trust in the process.

Look at an oyster for example… when an oyster gets irritated by any substance that irritates it like a grain of sand it coats it with layers and layers nacre which is a used to create the shell, it instead creates a beautiful pearl. We go through so many layers and layers of irritants and things that come into our life we didn’t choose or want but, in the end, God has a beautiful plan. Trust the process and the plan of God. What He has planned is often more beautiful than anything we could choose for ourselves. Stay strong you beautiful women of God! There is nothing that God has given you that He thinks you could not handle.
