Ladies, let’s get used to saying this— “if it doesn’t glorify God, I don’t want it!”
Often times I find myself saying those exact words, and somethings changed when I focused more on God. He opened my eyes to things I was blind too, and He showed me things that wasn’t representing Him and what He had for me. He also showed me things that were holding me back and keeping me from the purpose that He called for my life.
Glorifying God is what we should all aim to do in everything we do. Though we aren’t perfect, and we make mistakes as we are human, we still need to seek Him daily. Living for God is an everyday thing. Honestly, I’d rather strive every day to live for His glory than be wasting time focusing on my own glories and then getting to heaven and realizing that none of those things were worth it.
As I get older and have officially hit my 30’s… I see more and more of what is wasteful and what is purposeful. I aim to walk every day with a purpose, and not just for my purpose but for the call that God has for me.
Life is not about what “we” want, but what God wants.
